LTBBL College Scholarships As part of our continuing commitment to the youth of Lawrence Township, LTBBL has for many years offered college scholarships to past participants of our league. To be eligible to receive these scholarships, the student needs to have played in our league, and be attending either Lawrence North or Lawrence Central High School. The scholarships are based on the following criteria:
1. Community activities 2. Academic achievement 3. A written essay submitted to the Scholarship Committee
Last year, we were pleased to be able to increase the number of scholarships available from 2 to 4. The dollar amount of the individual scholarships was $1000 each. The deserving students received checks and were able to use the money to help defray the costs of their college education.
